Getting There
Discovery Coast is located approximately 500km north of Brisbane and can be accessed via the Bruce Highway. The closest airport is Gladstone Airport, which is approximately a 90-minute drive from the region. Alternatively, you can catch a train to Miriam Vale and then take a bus or taxi to your accommodation.

Weather
Like most of Queensland, Discovery Coast enjoys a subtropical climate with warm temperatures and high humidity. Summers (December to February) can be hot and humid, with temperatures averaging around 30°C. Winters (June to August) are mild and dry, with temperatures averaging around 21°C. The best time to visit Discovery Coast is during the autumn and spring months when temperatures are pleasant and rainfall is lower.
